Family Update

Cloey:

Cloey's last day of preschool is next Friday. She is going to be so sad when she doesn't get to go after that. Cloey only had preschool on Thursdays and Fridays from 8-11:30am. After two days of going to school she would wake up Saturday morning and ask if she had school. I am glad that she likes school and I truly hope that never changes.
Cloey is going to be turning four in August.
Cloey got her first big haircut yesterday, because she wouldn't let us put her hair up and it is getting to be too hot out to always wear it down.
Before
After
She loves her new hair cut and so do we. I am sure it won't take long for it to grow back. We will see how she does with us putting her hair up then.

Carter:

Carter is going to be two in only a couple of weeks. He talks a lot and is suck a copy cat. Favorite words right now are, No and Mine!
He loves playing with his tools, favorite ones being his hammers. Loves to play outdoors, pretend to cook, ride on his little kid four wheeler and so much more.
Carter looks so much bigger without all his curls. He got a big boy hair cut too, because of the hot weather.

Trying to think of other things to write but it is so hard to sit down and try to remember everything new that is going on or has happened.
Not sure if I have posted about Carter being in a toddler bed now and has no more pacifiers! Next will be potty training. We aren't going to push it. We will let him go at his own pace.

Terry recently built our kids a new play house. They love it. More room and much safer.

Try to write again soon!

Christmas/New Years/ Fable III

I know it has been a little while since I have really sat down and thought about what I wanted to write about.

About time for an Update!

I know I have been slacking a little when it comes to writing posts. I am sorry, but I have been really busy with different holiday things with the family.
I got a ride to the mall with my parents a couple of Saturdays ago, so that Cloey and Carter could see Santa. This is the same Santa we have been going to see since Cloey was a baby. Carter wasn't really sure what to think of Santa. Cloey was happy to finally be able to see him. She keeps asking to go see him again. We use the picture we take of our kids with Santa for our Christmas cards every year!

First lets start off with talking a little about Cloey:
She has started to really find her voice, and what I mean by that is yell and scream about things. She yelled at her dad one day just because he thought she was talking to him and she was talking to me. She yelled "I am NOT, Talking to you, I am talking to my mother!!!!" Very surprised at the tone she is giving us, but she soon realizes it isn't okay to speak to us like that. We tell her very calm and nicely that it isn't nice for her to speak to us like that. If she does it again we say, if you yell at us again you are going to have to take a time out and calm down because it isn't nice to scream at us. Normally she stops yelling, but if she doesn't she takes a three minute time out. I am sure this is a faze and normal behavior for a three year old, and she will out grow it, by realizing it doesn't get her anywhere by behaving or speaking like that.
Cloey loves to color, dance, sing, paint, play barbies, play doctor, play cashier, play outside and so much more. Cloey can be such a little cuddly bug. She gets in her moods where she just randomly wants me to call her Nana, Papa, Mucka, or her Auntie Dawn. She will grab the phone and bring it to me and ask if I will call one of them. She also will ask to stay at her Nana's house while she is talking to her on the phone, or at her Auntie Dawn's house. I don't put her up to it and she doesn't even ask if it is okay with me before asking them. Certain things that she says and does, I was not expecting until she was older.
Cloey loves to play with her brother and looks forward to him waking up in the morning or any time he wakes up from a nap, she just wants to run right into his room. Not always great because he sometimes couldn't have went back to sleep for a little longer. Glad that she loves him so much.
Cloey loves to help sort laundry and also put it in and take it out of the dryer. She tries to help me fold them, but they turn out being a ball. At least she is trying to be helpful. When we are home now she only wants to drink out of a big cup and only uses a sippy cup in her bed at night time. I let her have a sippy cup of water in case she gets thirsty in the middle of the night.

Now about Carter:
Carter is talking so much now. He tries to say almost anything we ask him to. He will not say love you. Makes me sad, but he does give tons of hugs and kisses!
Carter has recently gotten really into Mickey Mouse. He has a little Mickey stuff animal that he sleeps with. We lost it for a little while, and now that we have found it, Carter will not let it come out of his bed. He also gave Mickey a couple of really big, long, hugs.
Carter knows the meaning of no and yeah, his way of saying yes.
He will tell people to go if he doesn't want them near him, or get. Not very nice but cute when he says it.
Carter likes to sit on his sister, pull her hair or knock her down when she has something that he wants. Oh and I have caught him trying to bite her a couple of times, because she wouldn't get out of his chair. He is very particular about his chair and doesn't like sharing it with anyone!
I had to give Carter another hair cut the other day because it was getting to crazy curly on top. Cute, but it was too long. His hair grows so fast!
Carter likes to dance to music and go round and round in circles until he can't walk straight. All I have to say is "round and round" and he spins in a circle. He asks for piggy back rides. Loves to play outside, color, paint, play with cars and balls.

Helping Mommy sort clothes to wash!

When it comes down to it they both love each other and love playing together, of course brothers and sisters are going to have little fights but I hope they will always stay this close!

Pet Update:
We found a new home for our bunny about a month ago because it was just too much for me to have to deal with. Keeping the cage clean so it didn't stink up the house was too much work and cost a lot of money. Wasn't worth it all around. The women that came and got our bunny seemed to be really happy and I felt good about her taking her.

We still have our fish tanks (10 gallon tank in Cloey's room and a 29 gallon tank in our living room), Buster (our hamster), and Georgia (our wonderful dog, couldn't ask for a better dog with our kids). I believe that is enough pets.

Looking back on the years since Terry and I have been together:
I was just thinking the other day that in January 1, 2008 Terry and I starting dating, and then moved in together at the beginning of September
May 2, 2009 we got our own apartment and on August 17 Cloey was born
June 4, 2010 Terry and I got married
March 9, 2011 we bought our own place, and on June 4 Carter was born
2012 we got pets so what big thing will happen next year. No more kids, I know that much!
This January 1st will be Terry and my, five year anniversary.

Wow we had a Date Night

Terry and I haven't gone on a date by ourselves since we had Cloey. I thought it would be a good idea for us to have some alone time together because we haven't been getting along the greatest lately and my birthday is this Sunday. I asked my parents to take our kids for the night. Terry had to work so he got a ride into work and I picked him up. Then we went to Wal-Mart to get a few things we needed for the house and out to dinner. We went to House of Tang, and got the all you can eat buffet. Terry and I had a nice time talking but I found that all I kept talking about were our kids. Then I asked him "What did we use to talk about when we went out?". It is crazy how things change when you been together for almost five years and have two kids. All there is to talk about are everyday things. I love our kids so much they are always on my mind so that is why I talk about them so much.
After that we went to the AT&T store because I had lost my phone. I know it must be some where in the house, but I can't find it. Cloey has a bad habit of taking off with our phones. My phone was dead so I couldn't call it and because I couldn't find it I needed to go get another one. I ended up getting a Go Phone and we changed our plans to 250 minutes a piece and unlimited texting. Glad to have texting again because now I can just text Terry when he is at work instead of having to call him to tell him something or ask him a question if I didn't need the answer right away. I just wish some other people I know had texting, easier then making a phone call a lot of times! The only not so good thing about the go phone deal we got is the minutes we have are used even when you are calling mobile to mobile and you have to remember to refill every month or we won't be able to use our phones. The good thing is my friend told me that AT&T sends you a text a couple of days before your time runs up and you need to refill.

Over all a good night, not very eventful. Nothing like the movie Date Night, but was still very nice to spend some alone time with my husband.

Went from having No Pets to having 3 Pets

First we got our hamster. I really wanted a pet and so I thought we would start small. A hamster sounded like just was I was looking for because they are small and only need a small cage for a home. Of course food, water and attention. It took us almost a week to name our hamster because I just couldn't come up with something that I thought would fit him. Then I came up with a few names: Bonkers, Buster, Cazmo, and Chance. Terry like Buster the best so we went with Buster for our hamster's name and I think it fits him. He is really cute and likes to be held. Cloey has even held him, she thinks he is so cute. Carter wants to hold  and pet Buster but I only let him look at him because I am afraid of Carter hurting Buster. Carter is a little aggressive some times. We try and tell him and show him how to be gentle and he will learn as he gets older. Buster likes to sleep during the day and play at night, but I can get him to wake up during the day if Cloey wants to hold him. I just have to give him a chance to wake up after I have disturb him a little by opening his cage and rubbing him a little, this way he doesn't get mad. He hasn't ever bitten.

We went to our local field days and Cloey won a fish so we put the fish in a gallon tank in her room. The fishy died after four days and Cloey was so upset. So we went out and bought her a 10 gallon fish tank let her pick out the color rocks she wanted and the stuff to go in it. We got home from getting the tank and set it up. We waited 24 hours for the tank to be running before we went out and got any fish. The women at our local pet store didn't recommend us getting anymore then one fish to start off with and then if it does good add another one after a week. Cloey named her fishy Rendezvous. Her fish is one of her early birthday presents. The women at the pet store advised us that if we were going to do goldfish that is what we should do and there are many different kinds of goldfish to give a variety in the tank, but to only do one fish per five gallons of water because if they do really well that is how much water they require a piece.

We weren't planning on getting a dog but I have been helping my step sister look for a dog for a little over a week now. While helping her search for a dog we came across Georgia. We called about her and got a picture e-mail sent to us. As soon as I saw her I new she was in need of a good home. It really made me want to go get her. While I was at my stepsister's I talked with her about how I felt really bad for Georgia and that I should jokingly call Terry and tell him I went and got a dog. I was talking with her about maybe getting Georgia but didn't know what Terry would think. So I came home the night that I saw the picture of Georgia at my stepsister's and talk with Terry about going and getting her. I called to talk with the people that had her to find out more about her. Terry and I both agreed we wanted her from what the women had said to me. She sounded like she would fit right in with our family.
My stepsister was feeling a little torn between getting Georgia; who looked like she really needed a new home, or Marley; who didn't look like she was in such a need of a new home although she really wanted her and saw her picture first.  My stepsister was really trying hard to get a hold of the person who had posted an add about Marley online. The person wouldn't answer their phone any time she tried to call so I decided to try e-mailing them for her. They e-mailed me back saying how friendly and great their dog is. So I e-mailed them back trying to figure out when and where my stepsister could go get her and we e-mailed back and forth a few times and then it was time for me to leave to go get Georgia, so I asked them to call my step sister. The guy that had Marley called my stepsister and said she could go get her at eight that night, which didn't work for my stepsister. He said they could call the next day then and they would arrange a time for them to go get her, but my stepsister tried to call and he wouldn't answer, again. I fell really bad for her because she really wants Marley and if the guy that has her doesn't really want or have time for her then she should be with my stepsister because she is such a HUGE animal lover, she takes such great care of all of her animals and tries to help any animal that she sees that needs some loving.

We went and got Georgia and she is so sweet. You can tell that she was abused, which just breaks my heart! She is so friendly and loves the kids. Carter has been walking to get to her. Which is so cute. I can almost say he is a full on walker now. I had to give Georgia a bath as soon as we got her home because she didn't smell so good and went you pet her you could tell she was really dirty. The people that had her shaved her because they said that her hair was so matted. It looks like they got a little too close to her skin with what ever they shaved her with because she has sores on her back. We had to drive a little over and hour to get her but she was so worth it. She is so cute and will be even cuter once her hair grows back and she gets more meat on her bones. I don't understand how people could ever be so mean to an animal! She slept right next to my side of the bed on the floor all night. I know it will take her a little while to get use to us and all of the noises we make before she will actually sleeps through them. I will keep you guys updated about how well Georgia is doing. Also more to come about my two wonderful kids.

Sorry I haven't been posting as much

I haven't been getting on the computer that much. I have been trying to enjoy the weather as much as I can and get outside with the kids. We have been busy fixing up the outside of our house. We got new windows and siding for our trailer and painted the trim. I think it looks nice but now we have to dress up the inside window frames. Seems like there is always something to do to the house. There are good things and bad things to being a homeowner.

Today we were outside for the most part working on Cloey's little play house. We we moved in over a year ago, our neighbors gave us a little play house made of wood. Cloey is always asking us to go into her little house with her but it wasn't tall enough, until today! Cloey's little house it made of wood and isn't the prettiest to look at but it makes her so happy! We still need to build on a little more and buy more wood when Terry gets back to work.

Our neighbors are so awesome they have given me so many flowers and a few trees. Which

Relationships are work

Things are hard at times with men. There is many sayings about men. One being "You can't live with them, but you can't live with out them".
This is a post about that.
