we went to the park with one of our friends. Below are some cute pictures.
Cloey pretending to order a creemie; but oh my gosh they were all out of her flavor!
As our kids and my friends kids were going down the slide Terry was scaring them at the bottom. They all really enjoyed that, so much that they continue to go up so they could come down and get scared again, even though they knew he was there.
Cloey had to stop and take out some mulch out of her shoe. Carter decided he wanted to play in the sand by his self for a few minutes.
Tuesday night: we went to Terry's parents' house for dinner, swimming, and to ride our four wheeler. We couldn't make it up to her house for dinner on Friday, for her birthday, so we planned Tuesday night instead.
Thursday Night:we went to the beach to meet up with our friends that we saw a couple days before. We let our kids play on the playground there, went swimming and had dinner.

Saturday Morning: we went back to the beach with our friends this time we had more time to hang around and really enjoy the beach. Carter didn't want to go in the water this time. He spend his time playing in the sand. Cloey wanted to go in the water as soon as we got there so I got her all sunscreened up and went in the water with her. We only stayed in the water for about fifteen minutes because Cloey was cold and wanted to get out.
After lunch my friend and I went swimming. Cloey decided she wanted to come in again. She loves swimming around in her puddle jumper, totally worth the $15 we spent on it at our local Price Chopper. We bought Carter his life jacket at Wal-Mart $20.
Then about 1:00pm we picked up to go home and put our kids down for a nap. They looked very tired after our trip to the beach. Both kids fell asleep in the van, we put them in bed when we got home.
Sunday Morning: Cloey finally got to have a play date with her best friend from school. I was so happy for her. Cloey has been bugging be since before preschool was over to call up her best friend's mother and schedule a time for them to get together and play. Of course when we got there Cloey surprised me by being shy! Took her about 10 minutes to come around and play. Carter got right into playing with the sand, no surprise there.
Cloey's friend has a little brother, a day older then Carter, which worked out nicely because it gave Carter someone to play with. It is so nice to know someone else that has a little girl Cloey's age and a little boy Carter's age. I can see many more play dates in the future.
Was a very nice busy week! We had a lot of fun!
